To create my legacy journal. It is a hard cover book. This book was given to me when I was 3 ( 1975) and despite many moves over time, I've kept it. Now I know why. :)

There are stories in it and I love some of the art too.

Cannot wait to find cool things to put in pockets and start creating! One day I hope to figure out how to post more than 2 photos at once...until then the next photos are in the comments LOL

Sometimes the best thing we can take away from a creative day is the feeling that we actually gave ourselves one. 🎨🖌️🖍️💖

What is ONE thing you've been wanting to try in your journal 📖 but haven't yet?

Maybe it's a technique you've been nervous to attempt, a supply you bought six months ago and still haven't opened, a style that's completely outside your comfort zone, or something you've seen another creator do and thought, I really want to try that.

No promises that you'll actually get to it this week. 😂

Hello from Georgia. I am very keen to attend these sessions. At a difficult point in life and hoping this will bring joy. I feel sure it will. Just the word “muse” is a positive. Thank you.

Showing up live is an act of courage — and you did it beautifully.

A full day of live sessions means stepping into the moment without overthinking, without perfect lighting, without rehearsing. And you did it. You created in real time, you asked questions, you tried new things, you let yourself be seen.

You don’t need a plan to make something meaningful.

Today’s sessions were such a beautiful reminder that creativity doesn’t always start with a vision. Sometimes it starts with a mess, a color you’re drawn to, or a scrap that whispers “use me.”

I'm enjoying the presentations, and I can't wait to get some time to create some junk journals. I don't know how, but I made that mini booklet once, but I'm having trouble doing it again.🙂

Small moments matter more than perfect pages.

Today reminded Michelle and I of something I think we all forget: creativity doesn’t need grand gestures. It grows in the tiny, ordinary moments — the scrap you almost threw away, the smudge that turned into a texture, the story that surfaced when you weren’t even trying.
