Our craft space- aka our sanctuary.
My wife and I dealt with a stressful move this summer. We were living in place with a lot of mold and landlords that didn't care. I already have autoimmune illnesses so it was making me very sick. Since moving my breathing capacity and my overall health has improved so much! We are so lucky to have such a beautiful space to create in. Just a couple of weeks ago this space was piles of boxes. So, even though it is not perfect yet - I have white walls that desperately need art on them, I am so thrilled with our new space. I am also so lucky to be married to my very crafty wife. We spend a lot of time in here together. I make art/ junk journals and she makes cards. Also my twirly shelf in the corner is my favourite thing I've ever bought for here :)
It looks so inviting! Mine isn't quite that organized looking. I have a few too many crafts still that I think I want to do. I'm trying to pare things down to papercrafting (cards and junk journals mostly) and quilting/sewing. But I also want to learn to crochet and I've done some painting workshops that show you step by step what to do and I've enjoyed that as well. So it's hard to limit myself.
